The short version
This website collects as little information as possible, uses it only to respond to you, and never sells or shares it for marketing. Detailed health information should not be submitted through this website — that conversation happens privately, by phone or through the secure client portal.
What this website collects
If you submit the contact form, we receive the information you enter: your name, email address, phone number, voicemail preference, payment type, a general reason for reaching out, and how you heard about the practice. This information is transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and delivered directly to the practice's email. It is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not shared with third parties for marketing, sold, or used for advertising.
This site uses privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics (page counts and similar) and does not use advertising trackers, social media pixels, or chatbots.
What this website is not
The contact form is an inquiry form, not a medical record, and submitting it does not create a counselor–client relationship. Please do not include detailed health information, symptoms, or history in the form. Once you become a client, all clinical information is collected and stored in a HIPAA-compliant electronic health record system, and you will receive a full Notice of Privacy Practices — the document that governs how your protected health information is used — as part of intake paperwork. A copy is available on request at any time.
Client confidentiality
What clients share in counseling is confidential and protected by Pennsylvania law and professional ethics. The limited exceptions (such as imminent risk of serious harm to self or others, or suspected abuse of a child or vulnerable adult) are explained plainly before counseling begins.
External services
The client portal (scheduling and intake paperwork) is provided by CarePatron, a HIPAA-compliant practice management platform, and is governed by its own privacy practices. Links to the portal open in a new tab and are labeled.
